As the vaping community continues to gain worldwide acceptance, we are now being bombarded with lots of new terminology that can sometimes be very confusing. We’ve talked about sub ohm vaping in previous blogs, but what is temperature control vaping? Is this some strange new fad invented by manufacturers of vaping technology to get us to buy more of their products? Or is there some real benefits to TC vaping?

Taking control of your Vape!
Every vaping device is built differently. They have different resistance, amperage, wattage, and voltage ratings which results in varying levels of heating temperatures. For newbie vapers, this might not be a big deal. As long as the vape pen works, it’s a great way to get off of those nasty tobacco cigarettes. But as time moves on and we begin spending more and more money of different e-juice blends, we might find some of our purchases significantly lacking in flavor.
Let’s say that you purchase the Rusty Nails Flavor from our Viscid Collection. You’ve heard the rave reviews from @TiaVapes and everyone else online that this e-juice is a mixture of marshmallow, butterscotch, and custard. It sounds yummy, and you decide to buy a bottle. But once you get it plugged into that 2-year old vape pen, it isn’t quite as tasty as you had hoped. Maybe it’s time for a new vape pen with temperature control?
Turn up the heat!
Just like when you are heating a cup of your favorite hot cocoa, the temperature at which you drink the final product makes a big difference in the overall cocoa-drinking experience. If the water and cocoa mixture is too cold, then it usually tastes horrible. If the mixture is too hot, then it tends to burn our lips. The same is true with temperature control vaping.
If you find that a particular flavor of e-juice is not holding up to the hype, a TC vape pen will allow you to experiment with the heating temperature of the e-juice. By turning up the heat, you can significantly boost the amount of flavor to fit your individual preferences. But if you turn it up too high, will you burn your lips?
That’s the great thing about temperature control devices. Most of them have an automatic cut-off point that prevents this from happening. It’s only when vapers try to modify these devices on their own that they can run into safety problems. But if you use the TC vape pens responsibility and as instructed in the owners’ manuals, you will be just fine. To better control the flavors of your favorite e-juices, you might want to consider temperature control vaping.
