Best Variable Mods for $50 for Less

Posted by

Are you looking to upgrade your vape pen? Then you might be hearing a great deal in the forums and chat rooms about variable voltage mods. Every brand is different, and some of the options can be downright expensive. For those who want to try a variable mod on-the-cheap, consider these three, top-rated options.

Innokin iTaste MVP V2.0

With a 2600 mah battery, the MVP has more than double the battery life of a traditional E-Go. This saves loads of recharging time, and Innokin offers tons of vape wraps to customize your mod to nearly any design imaginable. Voltage can be adjusted from 3.5 volts to 5.0 volts in .1 volt increments while the wattage can be adjusted every half-watt from 6.0 to 11.0 watts, too. And the light on this variable mod flashes yellow when the device reaches a half-charge. Best of all, this baby sells for under $40.

Vamo V5

This is a popular choice among vaping enthusiasts, largely due to its unique design. The Vamo V5 still looks somewhat like a regular vape pen, but Vamo also offers lots of interesting skin wraps that can give your variable mod a boost of personality. The rounded mouth has been compared to a Tiki-god aesthetic while also offering all of the voltage and wattage options of the Innokin iTaste MVP. But this one costs only about $25.

SID Variable Voltage

This one is priced right around the $50 range and is marketed as the “Vamo Killer.” With a design that comes in multiple brightly colored hues, the SID version does not offer customizable skin wraps like the Vamo and the iTaste. But it is still beautifully designed with a clear LED display, an ohms checker, and a very user-friendly interface for those who like to design their own builds.

Variable mods don’t have to be expensive to work well. Besides, with today’s every-changing vaping technology, you’ll probably want something different in another 6-months or so anyway. So, quit throwing you money down the drain. If you want a variable mod at an affordable price, do your research. There are lots of great options out there that won’t break your bank account in the process.
